Yoga is a healing system of theory and practice. It is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation. Introduced to Western culture in the late 19th century Yoga has flourished primarily as a form of fitness, although some Westerners embrace the spirituality as well. Intended to combine a balance of mind, body and spirit, Yoga calms the nervous system, keeps energy meridians open and life energy flowing.
My preference of teaching Yoga is diverse as is my personal practice. I am versed in Hatha, Vinyasa and Power Yoga. I also specialize in Pre and Postnatal Yoga.
